Dubravka Husić was born on 7 July 1976 in Mostar. She obtained the degree of Law at the Faculty of Law of Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar. After defending her master’s thesis at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, she obtained the degree of Master of Legal Sciences, and she obtained the degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences by defending her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Law of Džemal Bijedić University. She worked at the Faculty of Law of Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar and also served as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tuzla. She has published several professional papers in national and international journals. Since 2013, she has been employed at the Office for Legislation of the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, which she has headed since 2024. She is married and has two children.
